A great tip today from the team at St Antonius Ziekenhuis in Nieuwegein. If following subcutaneous anesthetic you're finding a 21g spine needle too flimsy to accurately inject local anesthetic via the Trans-Perineal route, try using the biopsy needle itself as the conduit. This is a firm and accurate way to penetrate the pelvic muscular fascia and deliver the LA exactly where you want it! Perfect for patient comfort. #29mhz #prostatecancer
