Maple Monday! Maple Bacon Carrots (a quick and simple recipe)! INGREDIENTS 12 medium carrots, peeled 12 strips bacon... 1/4 maple syrup Freshly ground black pepper Directions: Preheat oven to 400. Wrap each carrot in one strip of bacon, and place bacon ends down on a large baking sheet. Brush all over with maple syrup and season with black pepper. Bake 10 minutes, remove from oven, and brush with remaining maple syrup. Bake 15 minutes more, or until carrots are tender and bacon is crisp. Serve. Recipe by: Lena Abraham

Peanut Butter Butterscotch Confetti 1 cup butterscotch chips 1/2 cup peanut butter 1/4 cup hard butter 8 ounces coloured mini marshmallows... Directions: 1 Heat the butterscotch chips, peanut butter, and butter. 2 Stir until smooth. Watch it; peanut butter burns quickly! 3 Cool a wee bit. 4 Stir in marshmallows. 5 Pat into a greased 8x8-inch pan and chill. 6 Cut into squares. Yum
