Sometimes all we're after is a simple and clean shot. It's often on those kinds of images that that we get a deeper sense of place and colors. Filming bikers and skiers on steeper terrain allows FPV pilots to fly backwards while maintaining downhill momentum. @kiahschaepe, @riversongadventures and I had paddled this waterfall at the perfect flow a few weeks prior to this shoot. We certainly didn't realize it at the time. Every other time we found ourselves at the top of this 60fter again, it was either too high or too low for our liking. That shoot day, although the water level was only slightly lower than ideal, it still proved to be a hard move to line up.
