Hi everyone! It’s been ages a very tumultuous few months and a much needed break from social media. As you might have seen we closed our downtown shop as we begin to prepare to move up north. We are super excited! So I’ve finally got the remaining few items from the store up on @luminaryemporium and that includes a few prints, teas, wood bookmarks, cards, and notepads and notebooks. You can find them all in the Folklore brand section. Link in bio. Folklore stock is lowish an...d will be replenished next week, and we’ve got a spring/summer seasonal release in the works as well! A new *little* something for you in the shop...

The air is frozen... the storyteller and his listeners have gone in by the wood stove, and the other inhabitants of the valley have come to claim their land. All three winter candles are now available for PREORDER on both the Folklore website and through @luminaryemporium for Canadian folks preferring to shop in CAD, shipping around November 1st. Stay cozy friends!

Into the darkness we tread... This is your clue for the third and final winter candle! They will all be released this evening for preorder. Leave your guesses below spooky darlings!

Weeeee!! So many of you were so close with your guesses. The second winter candle is called Wassail! All three winter candles will be available for preorder tomorrow evening after the third and final candle reveal. Woop! I just love the orange peel in this one so much, @darkrunekraft

Seems like the perfect day for.... a candle reveal! Winterlight is one of three winter seasonals that will be our November 1st. And yeah, this smells amazing. Been burning it all weekend. Gorgeous illustration as always by the ever talented @darkrunekraft! Go give his account a follow.

WOT’S THIS?! All our prints are on sale? Yes right they are! Beautiful 5x7 prints on incredibly sturdy cardstock (think 5 business cards stacked together), that can be displayed framed or unframed they’re THAT sturdy. Super limited quantities! You may have seen yesterday in our stories we now have four lovely prints in stock by the ever mystifying @elizabethknight_ We have only FIVE of each, so definitely hop to it if you want *your* wall graced with *her* magickal poetry.

Well well, I did manage to wait until today like I had planned! Here’s the second autumn candle reveal!! I think this might be my favourite @darkrunekraft illustration yet. My love for October knows no bounds especially late October. Both of these will be available in early September!! Which are you most looking forward to? Are we SO THRILLED to be having these crisp cool mornings that smell like the first day of school? yes. Yes we are. Fall candle production is ticking along, and we’re also almost finished with combining the Ex Libris and Folklore websites together you can expect that later on today or tomorrow! And aaaaalso... the second fall candle reveal will be tomorrow as well!

I dare say it’s time for an autumn candle reveal. This is the first of two new seasonal lovelies, Dark Harvest. you guys, I’m such a fan. I’ve been secretly burning this one in the shop for a while. Wooo! Finally a few perfume oil and room spray are in the downtown location! There are only a few but we shall be fully stocked by this weekend. We’ve also got the stunning new prints from our sister company @exlibrissupplyco in stock (illustrated by the always wonderful @darkrunekraft). Come check them out!

Throwback to our shop last fall! We’re REOPENING tomorrow! Our hours will be inconsistent while we figure everything out but this weekend: Saturday 10-4 and Sunday 12-4. We’ll have sanitizer at the door and a plexi barrier for everyone’s safety. We’re asking for only one person/family at a time since our shop is so teeny tiny. See you there!!
