Do you have hand sanitizer manufactured by a brewery in an aluminum can? If so, check it right away to make sure it isn’t leaking through the can. A chemical re...action could be taking place between the aluminum in the can and the ethanol in the sanitizer. The product manufacturer has issued a recall, but we want to make sure you stay safe. If it isn’t leaking or reacting, transfer it to a glass or plastic container to use it safely. If it is, like in the pictures, take it to one of Calgary’s Hazardous Material Drop Off sites. The chemical reaction between the container and the sanitizer can reduce the effectiveness of the sanitizer and pose a fire risk.

On this night... 19 years ago 246 people went to sleep in preparation for their morning flights. 2,606 people went to sleep in preparation for work in the morni...ng. 343 firefighters went to sleep in preparation for their morning shift. 60 police officers went to sleep in preparation for morning patrol. 8 paramedics went to sleep in preparation for the morning shift. None of them saw past 10:00am Sept 11, 2001. In one single moment life may never be the same. As you live and enjoy the breaths you take today and tonight before you go to sleep in preparation for your life tomorrow, kiss the ones you love, snuggle a little tighter, and never take one second of your life for granted. #wewillneverforget See more
