Thank you, Dr.Fitzgerald again!. We have even more exciting news... Thanks to the flexibility of Dr. Janice Fitzgerald and the team at pubic health we are able to open our indoor facility this Saturday, March 27 for Lasertag, iCombat, Gellyball, Archery Batlle, and Nerf.... Our outdoor park opened on March 13 for Low and Regular paintball, Airsoft, Gellyball, and Lasertag. We want to invite you and your family to get out of your home for some exercise and stress relief. Maybe that postponed birthday or special occasion? We believe that Paintball, Airsoft, Gellyball and Lasertag are safe activities that can be enjoyed without risk to your health from Covid-19. Of course, we have made significant modifications to our operating procedures to ensure the protection of our team members and customers. These new rules are available on our website here: Frontline Action Regular and Low Impact Paintball Games, Airsoft, Gellyball and Lasertag games may be booked outdoors online by visiting: https://www.vantora.com/Paintball/fla/registration/#/ For indoor activities (Lasertag, iCombat, Gellyball, Nerf, Archery Battle) please book here https://www.vantora.com/Paintball/flai/registration/#/ If you have any questions please call 747-4653 anytime. Mobile events may also be booked by calling 747-4653 or emailing Email us anytime. A list of our Covid-19 Friendly Mobile items is available here Special Covid-19 Friendly Mobile List Our proshop will be open with 50% occupancy from 12PM-7PM every day with mandatory mask-wearing and physical distancing. I will leave my table outside and for those who wish to use curbside just call from the parking lot 747-4653. We take the safety of our customers, staff, and province very seriously and as a result, the facility will have a limit of 50 people, physical distancing must be practiced at all times, and mask-wearing will be mandatory whenever you are around staff or people outside your bubble. To my fellow business owners, families, and others affected by the ongoing pandemic. I want you to know you are not alone. We will get through this. It may be difficult but let's redouble our efforts to protect each other. As Dr.Fitzgerald keeps saying Holdfast Newfoundland and Labrador.

Small businesses really appreciate all our customer's support, especially during these trying times. If our customers are indifferent to how they pay they might... find the following image from my last month's merchant statement interesting. This image shows the different percentages that are charged to the merchant when our customers select a piece of plastic from their wallet. Debit is only .03 / transaction for my provider and so unless you are spending less than $1.62 in a store debit is always preferred. The more benefits attached to the credit card (points/insurance/other perks) the greater the cost to the merchant. For example, the World Elite MasterCard has 191% greater fees than the no-frills Mastercard and the Infinite Visa card has 96% greater fees to the merchant than the no-frills Visa. Surprisingly, my arrangement with Amex actually sees us on average paying a flat rate that is lower than either Visa or Mastercard overall on average. Some basic Mastercards and Visa have a lower rate but the average is better with AMEX. This is a change from the past when AMEX had very high rates. Thankfully many of our customers choose debit and this results in 42% of our sales being debit. Still, the bottom line translates into $23 in debit fees for 42% of our sales and $453 in credit card fees for 58% of our sales in just one month. That is real money at any time especially now. We (Frontline Action) are not closing! We have been serving NL for 27 years. Unfortunately, Axtion, which is an unrelated company is. Our hearts go out to the owner, his family and staff over what I know is devastating news.

Thank you to all our customers this year who helped us not only survive but be able to give back. Our week of giving resulted in over $7300 being given back to our community. Miles for Smiles, School Lunch Association, Salvation Army Mount Pearl, St.Vincent de Paul at St.Peters in Mount Pearl, and 20 food hampers that we collaborated with Miles for Smiles and 13-year-old Sam McDonald on and delivered around the North East Avalon.

The world around us can often have a negative effect on our wellbeing. Paintball has been proven to genuinely help the mind and the soul in incredibly positive ...ways. At its core, paintball is fun, but the rush of joy and fear you feel when playing kickstarts your mojo. And, paintball has a fantastically relaxed, open and welcoming social circle that is truly unique. So... #playpaintball #play #paintball #physical #mental #health #wellbeing #tryit #havefun #cutloose #befree

The news is not comforting however we all have it in our power to stop covid in NL before it really gets going. Covid Alert app downloaded over a month ago. I... got my flu shot yesterday and it was 3 minutes of my time at Shoppers. I am back in my March routine of being super careful and pushing my staff to double down as well. The little so-called inconveniences will be the difference between some sort of normal Christmas or making Easter 2020 look like a dress rehearsal. Take Action today and spread the word. See more

Sometimes you drop the ball with a customer a little and then the customer takes the time to let you know. Often they are sheepish about telling you and afraid they may offend you. You sincerely thank them for giving you the feedback you need and then they send you this:

Situation Update from Tom and Frontline Action I wanted to share with you some business and personal updates. Frontline Action has weathered Covid-19 so far extremely well. After 26 years of serving Newfoundland and Labrador, we have learned a few things about survival. We are open every day and are positioned to be around for years to come.
