How was tours? We loved meeting every single one of you today and we can’t wait to meet more of you tomorrow! A year ago, Maryam walked into GPhi and met a girl who would become her Big Caitlyn. Here’s what Maryam has to say: I am so glad I walked through the doors of gamma phi during tours, because it gave me Caitlyn. Caitlyn is the big sister that I never had. She’s such a strong and inspiring woman and I couldn’t imagine Gamma Phi Beta without her. Even though we’re... total opposites in some aspects, we still manage to have awesome times together and have made some crazy memories. She’s always there for me when I need her and I know I can count on her for mental, emotional and academic support. #sheisgphi #joinubcsororities

Nicole flew over to Toronto to visit Alison, and it’s this kind of friendship that makes us all so warm inside. We miss you Alison, but so glad Nicole got to hug you for us! A little message from Alison: Nicole had the opportunity this past week to come visit me in Toronto. With COVID and not being able to go going back to UBC campus myself it was so nice to have a such a close and special friend come to visit me and brighten up my life.
