At Gear up we are here to help kids lead an active lifestyle in and outside of organized sports. You don’t have to be involved in a minor sport program to qual...ify. Did you know ....Over half of the requests we receive are for kids who might need a bike, public skating equipment, a basketball etc. If you or someone you know could use Gear Up Kids for sports equipment visit our website and complete the online equipment request form. From all of us at Gear Up Kids Foundation, we are proud to present our 2018 results: We were able to assist 41 FAMILIES directly in our area. Requests for equipment were made through email and pamphlets. All requests were granted! 71 kids were assisted through organizations such as Stettler Elementary School, Christ-King School, Junior Golf and Fun Hockey. ... Overall, we have assisted 111 kids, helping them Play and be "Active"! Equipment distributed: Full hockey equipment Goalie equipment Skating and helmets Bikes and helmets Baseball gloves and bats Dance shoes Snowboards and skis Thank you to our amazing community for your continued support!!!
