We wish to thank Krista Lina Johnston for putting up posters of Sar's plight across the City of Toronto. You have been so supportive to us during this difficult time. Krista Lina, we are very fortunate to have a friend like you!
Two weeks ago, The North York Mirror, one of Toronto's known community newspaper, published an article on Sar's urgent plight. We would like to thank them for further publicizing Sar's story and we ask of everyone of you to continue praying for miracles on Sar's behalf. http://m.insidetoronto.com//4866405-brotherly-love-fuels-/
We want to thank Krista Lina Johnston and Michelle Loterman for the lovely poster they put together for Sar. The message to 'Stay Strong' along with pictures of calendars (which Sar loves) is the love and support which he very much needs and is so well appreciated.
Yesterday afternoon Sar was rushed to the Intensive Care Unit and remains critically ill. The doctors are attempting everything they can to improve his condition. We ask you all to back up their medical efforts with prayers to the Almighty on Sar's behalf. May this Jewish/New Year bring health to all those that need it.
We wish to thank our very special family friend Avi Hochman for allowing us to put up a billboard sign on his family's place of business near Bathurst St. & Wilson Ave. Avi has been a 'Big Brother' to Sar for over 12 years since they met at Camp HASC, Avi as a counsellor and Sar as a camper. Avi takes out Sar out on a regular basis and is always there for us whenever we need him. We remain forever indebted to you Avi! The sign, showing the urgency in finding Sar's living liver donor is one more step in our determination in giving him his gift of life.
If anybody ever had any doubts of the power of prayer, think again! Last week, Sar's health gravely deteriorated and we suffered some very difficult days of anguish. We resorted to asking you all to fervently pray on his behalf during these auspicious days prior to the Jewish New Year/Rosh Hashanah. This Sabbath/Shabbat we witnessed a miraculous turnaround which one can only directly connect to our prayers being answered. However, Sar's condition continues to be extremely cr...itical and everyday remains of an essence in us finding him a living liver donor. May we continue to pray for him and may the Almighty continue to answer all of our prayers on his behalf.
