I want to give a shout out to this guy! Meet Peter. Peter is from Abbotsford. Met him about 10 years ago on one of my trips to BC. He’s one of our faithful supporters and a good friend. Peter has an amazing story and loves to share with anyone who will listen and Sharing the gospel has become a part of his DNA. We usually talk every few months when he orders more Bibles to give away as God leads. ... Peter is one of those guys who doesn’t wait for the perfect opportunity. He recognizes that there are opportunities all around him every day. This week he ordered another 100 Just Start booklets. He’s always up and about talking to people. One of his favourite places is the bus loop close to his house. He’ll often walk over and start conversations and has MANY stories of divine appointments. He’s got an infectious smile, an awesome laugh and a kind, sincere spirit. Who wouldn’t take the time to listen to him!? It’ll be just like him to call me after seeing this post to tell me he’s not that great. Well Peter....you are.

This past week our Feature Bible was JUST START where we offered a total 1000 copies to whoever was doing outreach and evangelism. They were all spoken for within 4 days. Today we are offering the All About Jesus illustrated New Testament. These are geared towards kids ages 7-12.... -They come 100 Copies/case -filled with action pictures and scripture going thrpugh the whole life of Jesus. -Perfect for VBS, camp, sunday school, missions. They come in both English and Spanish. If you’re involved in kids ministry, we want to make a case of them available to your ministry. We will ship to any address in Canada.

Meet Virginia and Allen Spence. It all started a few years ago when we gave them 3 Bibles to Give away. With those 3 Bibles they started a small church. Starting that church gave them a passion to go further, sharing the gospel to people in their community up North and now they are sharing the gospel every day right here in Winnipeg. The stories they shared this morning were absolutely amazing! They are literally being the hands and feet of Jesus every single day. They le...ft me in awe! Today we were able to give them another 225 Bibles/outreach resources as they continue to trave North to their communities and right here in Wpg. We LOVE being able to bless them with the Word to continue their Kingdom work.

Just another one of the many requests from today.... Hello. I am desperately looking for a large quantity of Bibles at a cheap cost. Everyone I have contacted will not ship to Canada and everywhere I look in Canada is just so expensive. Why are Canadians charging so much for Bibles? I belong to Lighthouse Church in Niagara Falls and we will be starting a street ministry in our community. I ended up finding you online and hoping you can help. You gotta see this!! Just a few amazing Bible requests from over the weekend... From Chuck (serving in Mexico)... Hey Give The Word. We are once again running out of Bibles. Would you be able to send us 6 cases of Full Spanish Bibles and 6 cases of Spanish New Testaments? We are also raising funds to pour some support back in to your ministry. If they could be sent to an address in Arizona, we have someone there who can drive them across the border for us. Done and Done!! From Nancy (in northern Mb) My granddaughter is attending university in Winnipeg, but due to the stress of Covid, she is moving back home for awhile. She is a strong believer and wants to spend her time back at home starting a Bible study for teens and a Sunday school program for the kids. She says We need to spread the gospel to the people at home and make sure they are prepared to meet the Lord. Would Give the Word be able to supply her with Bibles to start these two programs? Done and Done! From Kathryn, I just had the privilege of leading a lady to Christ this morning. We've been texting back and forth since 3am . Just after 5am I called her and prayed with her as she accepted Christ. It was so amazing and beautiful. I'm currently overseas but she lives in a small town in Manitoba. Would Give the Word be able to get her a Bible? You guys are such an amazing blessing and resource, Thank you!!! From Christian, I just helped lead a young woman to Christ. She has walked away from her home and didn't have a place to go. I saw her get off a bus and God spoke to me and asked me to go and talk to her. She shared her story with me and we talked for four hours. She ended up accepting Christ and I would love to give her a Bible.

We've had numerous Bible requests today. Two of them which went out to a couple who's house burned down recently. We were able to give them each a new leather Bible. Here's another one we just received.... We have a neighbour named who is really receptive to the gospel! We feel he's just on the verge of giving his life over to Jesus, and we are so excited! He's been asking so many good questions, but he's still not quite there. We were wanting to give him a bible, but the ex...tra ones we have in our apartment we feel would not be right (small print, old language, etc). He is interested in receiving a bible though and we are just praying that God protects the seeds planted in his heart, and that He will grant increase!!! Would you be able to send us a bible we can give to him? We liked the sound of the NLT full bible "HelpFinder" that has over 400 questions answered. It's the one with the red cover. He has SO MANY questions. We've answered them in turn, but he still has so many! So we thought that one would be perfect! It's only a matter of time until there is a new soul redeemed, and angels rejoicing in heaven! Thank you so much! Bless you guys for your ministry and what you do! YES and YES!!!!

Met with a guy this morning who came to pick up a few Bibles. He talked about how he's been using his extra time at home to share the gospel with some of his contacts on social media. He shared he has been talking to this one woman. She talked about how she doesn't really know what she believes but finds Christianity the most attractive. He asked her if she had a Bible to which she replied "I actually don't but I always promised my dad that I would read it one day". He offe...red to get her a Bible (to which she gratefully accepted" and told her, "Then why not dabble, let's get you in to the word and keep talking about it". He ended up leaving with 5 Bibles for a few other people he's in conversation with who have expressed interest in faith. This is what and who we are here for! www.givetheword.com
