I release that which does not serve . I’m back after my weekend vacation. I got a lot of art accomplished and I hope some of my sanity has returned, no promises though. I’m trying to shake the stay-at-home mom-in-a-global-pandemic blues, and it’s hard. It’s damned freaking hard. Luckily this weekend I had some amazing support from my husband, kids and family. I spent two days basically doing nothing and not needing to be anything for anyone except myself. I created a touchs...tone that hopefully I can bring my mind back to when things get too much again. Thanks for being patient with me. . . . By the way, if you ever need a vacation I can’t recommend @chemainusbwplus enough. The staff were all so kind, the room was fantastic and the whole building felt so Covid secure. . And those few people i was messaging with... and when I had the Macarena play on our home speaker while Christopher Gillen was eating dinner with the kids. Fun fact, Christopher used to be a wedding DJ and haaaaates the Macarena. Another fun fact, if your home speaker is hooked up the wifi and Spotify..., you can control it with your phone from anywhere!! He may have texted me to call me some choice names.
