Just a quick update...yesterday we received notice from the Ministry that pharmacies will no longer receive the high dose vaccine for seniors. Ottawa public health and/or doctors offices may still have availability. We also yesterday received only 20 more doses of regular flu shots. We have offered those to seniors who were on our waiting list for the high dose. So we are again out and not certain when we will get resupplied. When we do, we will offer the doses to those ...seniors still on our HD waiting list before starting to go to our regular waiting list. We continue to add to our waiting list and hope we will be able to get enough doses for everyone, however, we do encourage everyone to check with public health, their doctors or other pharmacies to try to find it. Distribution has been very frustrating this year. We get no warning when we might get doses or how many. When we do receive doses we will work down our list. We appreciate your understanding. Monday morning update...no flu vaccine today

So I have received an email from my wholesaler stated that they have run through their entire vaccine stock that was supplied from Ontario Public Health. They are currently awaiting the next shipment. The shipments are done in phases but they cannot state when the next shipment will be. So at this point we order every day and can’t say when we might get more. We are now creating a waiting list for the regular and seniors HD vaccines if you would like call and put your name on our list. If you are able to find it elsewhere, I encourage you to get it done as soon as you can find it. I appreciate everyone’s patience , it has been a trying time for all. We have been assured that the vaccine will be a available over the next few weeks.

Today we received only 20 doses of the regular flu vaccine. Unfortunately it will be a first come first served situation. Please call to book an appointment for today. If you can’t make it today please wait for our resupply. I realize this will go very fast and I am trying to resupply as best I can. I tried to place an order for tomorrow but it looks like there is no vaccine for tomorrow. I will try again for Friday.

Again, no flu shots today

I’m sorry to report that we did not receive any flu vaccine this morning. We have been notified by the Ministry that there are known supply and distribution issues and we will get vaccines at some point but can’t guarantee when...I’ll keep you posted.

Again, no flu vaccine arrived today. Let's hope Monday will be our day...have a great weekend everyone.

No flu shots this morning. It looks like the Ministry is not going to release more until next week according to emails I have received. If I happen to get some tomorrow I will post, but I’m now not expecting to be replenished until next week. My apologies, please bear with us.

Unfortunately, we again will not receive vaccines today. Extremely frustrating! Hopefully tomorrow I can post some good news.

Flu Shot season has begun! We have received our initial doses and are underway. We are asking people to please fill out a consent form before coming for your shot. you can access the consent form on the Pharmasave.com website at the following link https://pharmasave.com/flu/ We have changed our procedure this year to maintain the safety of our clients and staff and so scheduling time slots to minimalize contact. Please call ahead to book an appointment to help facilitate a safer environment for all.
