From James Cutler: Lost Dock?... Took the boat out for its last spin yesterday, and noticed a dock at the north of the lake, at the west end of the long beach. It looks like a new dock with plastic stairs, and has reflector sticks on it. It’s either there on purpose and chained up (I couldn’t tell), or maybe it has floated away from someone’s property? Seems an odd place for it!

Hi All, I'm wondering if anyone has a contact for winter road plowing? We are on Bovenizer Trail. I've already asked Paul Foulds, does anyone else come to mind? :) Thanks

From the Coalition for Equitable Water Flows organization which we belong to... "The Trent-Severn Waterway's annual drawdown of all reservoirs is now underway with many of our lakes starting from above normal levels for this date. In the next two weeks 15 of our reservoirs are projected to see a draw of more than 25cms and most other reservoirs will also see significant drawdown rates. In order to get all our lakes to their minimum levels by Oct 15 to protect lake trout spawn...ing, we can expect a continuing draw with the dams at winter set log levels by early October." Grace Lake is a "reservoir lake". It is expected to drop 38cms by Sept 26! Perhaps its time to get your boats and docks out of the water. FYI.
