Hello GB Edmonton family, Starting March 29th, we have made some changes to the physical distancing and zoom schedule. We made these changes to be the most prepared to add in more classes once the restrictions are lifted by the Alberta government. We will continue to provide any service that is allowed by the Alberta government to the best of our abilities!... Hello GB Edmonton family, I hope everyone is staying safe and healthy. For all those returning to physical distancing class and for those returning in the future when the restrictions are lifted, we have a new exciting change. ... To speed up the health check when coming in for class we have made a QR code. All you need to do is scan the code, fill out the information within 2 hrs of the class you are taking. You will do this individually for any students who are taking class this day. Please let us know if you have any questions about this. We miss you all and have an awesome weekend!!

Hello GB Edmonton family! So I’m sure every one has seen the latest updates on Alberta restrictions plan. Unfortunately, we are not included in phase 1 of their plan which we were hoping for. ... But the good news is: over the past year, most of the time we have been under the goal of less than 150 hospitalizations of Alberta to get all the way to phase 4 of their plan. Yes this is also dependant on minimum times between phases but we are on our way! We are excited to have a plan to look forward to and the path to getting back on the mats ASAP.

After the Covid updates from yesterday, we are a bit saddened that we still have to continue to wait for our school to open but hopeful that things are slowly moving in the right direction. That being said, in a time when we are bombarded with politics, stats and bad news, one thing that this Pandemic has shown us is how much grit our team has. GB EDMONTON AVERAGES 25-30 KIDS & ADULTS PER ZOOM CLASS, that in itself is truly remarkable. Doing a sport like this online seems i...mpossible until it is done. After all, what is BJJ but a game of finding solutions to problems. We know there’s nothing better than training on the mats. The fact that our team continues on with the second best solution is a testimony that your hunger and dedication for this sport couldn’t be diminished - even by a virus. Anyone can train when it’s easy & feels good. Champions train when it’s hard and challenging, so from the bottom of our hearts- We thank you Champs.
