Update regarding 2020 season - All commercial marine passenger vessels carrying over 12 people have been restricted from operating until June 30, 2020. Unfortunately we have made the decision to suspend our lunch and dinner cruises for the remainder of the year. We want our customers and crew to feel safe and comfortable and the dining area on our boats is just not large enough for proper social distancing that will be required for the foreseeable future. We're a bit late getting the boats out of the water this year but we finally put them to rest for winter maintenance yesterday. Leaves are gone now, next snow will come and the creek will freeze then spring will be here in no time. Have a safe and healthy winter everyone!

Signs of Spring! Ice is gone in the river but still in Big Creek. Water was covering the driveway yesterday but has since receded. Looks like we'll have some work to do on the dock.

Kayanase's current greenhouse was built in 2010. It's nearly 55,000 square feet and features a retractable roof. Attached is a 9000 square foot warehouse and of...fice building. TRANQUIL MOMENTS A week ago today I was on The Grand River Princess sunset cruise with a very handsome gentleman, floating leisurely down the river while I enj...oyed a delicious four course roast beef dinner. Life seemed to slow down with music from the forties playing softly in the background and the breeze from the open windows cooling the air as the boat drifted down the tranquil river. The cruise takes about 3 hours and the Captain occasionally points out places of historic interest like the home of Pauline Johnson the famous Canadian poet. In between courses there is enough time to take a stroll around the promenade deck or sit on the deck chairs and enjoy the view of the Grand River. The cruises run from May 22- Sept 30th and can also be booked for private functions but if you are looking for a unique romantic experience or just something a little different to do with a group of friends reserve a spot and float down the river.
