Dear friends & valued customers, It is with a heavy heart but with an eye on the future that I write to inform you that Graze Restaurant will be closing on Sunday, November 22, 2015. It has been a wonderful experience serving you for the past 3 years while promoting the acceptance & adoption of a plant-based diet. I believe that we have demonstrated clearly that vegan cuisine is not just environmentally responsible and compassionate to other creatures and healthy for our bodi...es, but that it can also be creative, hearty, satiating and delicious! And you have told us definitively that you agree! A great many factors have gone into making this difficult decision. Not only have we been planning our retail products division, focused on our non-dairy nut-based cheeses, but also about the long-term viability of our current location. Our next location will need a larger commercial kitchen for our cheese production and proper cheese storage space. While actively searching, an offer to take over our current location came along. Although months sooner than we would have preferred, it was a reasonable opportunity one that will allow us to pursue our other goals sooner. This deal came along out of the blue and is completing quickly! We only just released our new fall/winter menu last week and changed the Park menu to Jamaican the week before that! We are scheduled to be part of several upcoming food festivals and events as well as Dine Out Vancouver, The Wellness Show and Savour Our Neighbourhood events! We’ve developed our Holiday Feast menu and are in the midst of a dessert menu switchover. We’ve also just this last week added new beer selections to the taps and wines to the list. That’s how unexpected this was to us, but we were looking for a change, saw the various merits of this deal and are embracing it as a step in the right direction! Please come in to dine with us any or every night until we close the doors after next weekend. If you have a gift certificate or a Graze credit, even if it has expired, please come and use them. All will be honoured when we re-open, but even we don’t yet know where that will be. Our various cheeses will be for sale all week in the restaurant while they last, so come on over for a last visit. We also have 4 RainWater Hogs that need a home. We used them to collect rain and then irrigated our garden all through the dry patch. 200L each, food grade plastic, connectable. Paid $275 each, will sell for $125.

The PARK is closed for a private event tonight... and then open tomorrow at 5pm for our final evening ever! Join us Saturday for dinner and drinks and then a live comedy show at 9pm. Stick around after the show to eat and drink some more until late. Saturday will be our final event in the Park at Graze so please come and say farewell to the weirdest space in town tongue emoticon

Saffron & sage chickpea crepes filled with artichoke & creamed kale on golden spiced rice and apricot pilaf, carrot & thyme cream.

The Mac is back! This time individually baked in gooey cheddar style sauce with cauliflower & sundried tomato. Try our house-made pesto version too!

We'll be taking a break from our weekend brunch service at Graze for a couple of months after this weekend. Brunch will be back before you know it, but come on down for a delicious morning meal while you can!
