Many of you have already enjoyed our newly announced Purple Cow Dinner. It's been a lot of fun for us to cook and serve. We love the way it's beginning to get a following. I assure you, cooking from the soul simply doesn't get any better. We want to hear from some of our amazing guests that have already enjoyed a Purple Cow Dinner. If you are a guest that has had one of these amazing culinary experiences, drop a comment below and tell us how you enjoyed it! If you don't know... what it is, it's a five course, off-menu, highly technically prepared dinner. Allowing us to source and choose extremely local and seasonal ingredients. It's fine dining at it's best with a completely Grounded feel. We like to spread our wings and prepare the menu based on creativity, ingredients and inspiration. You can request a theme or let us know any food preferences, like BBQ, or seafood extravaganza, all plant based, regionally focused, or just something that you love to eat. Whatever you want, we've got you covered! It includes a bottle of wine that is paired with your meal. You also have the option to add a complete beverage flight for each course. An aperitif to start, some bubbly, a custom cocktail and a nice finisher while enjoying dessert. The dinner is served "blind" meaning, once you've told me your points from above; we take it from there. We'll welcome you in on your reserved date, seat you and reveal courses as they come out. Hey family! Hope you all had a wonderful thanksgiving. We were so happy to be a part of it with some of you. Today is the first day of the week that we’re open under the new regulations. Honestly, it’s going to be hard. The first shutdown put everybody on red alert and now that we are closing indoor dining for a second time it’s going to be difficult - especially now that the weather is getting colder. We want to try to get ahead of this as much as we can and hopefully after... 24 days we will be able to re-open indoor dining. In the meantime, we need your help. Take out is once again becoming the main way to enjoy restaurant food and if you’ve had our food before you know it’s bomb in the restaurant or at home. Well, things are changing once again for us in Ottawa. It's an appropriate measure for our situation and I know it feels like a step backwards but we will come out of this together and stronger than ever. Practice safe distancing, handwashing, and hygiene. With all that being said, our patio is still open for dine in so take advantage of the last few warm days and come hangout with us, eat some amazing food, and say hi.
