Looking for a cottage for summer 2021?

You may have noticed these recently installed signs in Southwold Township. They are to remind our residents & visitors that our volunteer/paid-on-call firefight...ers use flashing green lights while responding to the fire station when they are paged for an emergency. Unlike continually staffed fire stations, our firefighters must first respond from home or work to the fire station, in order to respond to the scene with a fire truck and proper PPE & equipment. We ask and appreciate that you yield to these flashing green lights, which are commonly used by firefighters throughout Ontario. This can help save precious time in an emergency. #ThankYou #FlashingGreenLights

It's official, we are now closed for the 2020 summer season. This year especially, Andy and Carol would like to extend our deepest, most heartfelt thanks to all of our staff and customers. The Covid 2020 season was both incredibly challenging and incredibly rewarding. We learned SO much and are so grateful to all of you! Without our incredible team and loyal customers, we can't imagine how 2020 might have been. Thank you all, we will be counting the days until summer 2021.

Despite the change to stage 3, GTs has decided that in order to provide the maximum amount of space for beach goers to social distance themselves, we will not be setting up any volleyball nets in 2020. We hope you all understand that its important to provide as much space as possible right now.
