World premiere of Christine Donkin's Distracted by the Stones on the Path. Adam Cicchillitti and Steve Cowan premiered this work last week with the Classical Guitar Society of Calgary! Thanks to Prairie Debut and the SOCAN Foundation for making this possible. Donkin is originally from Grand Prairie, Alberta, and Steve Cowan was born in Calgary.

East meets West! These two award-winning guitarists perform the first concert of the 2020-2021 Classical Guitar Society of Calgary season. The recital will feature a world premiere of Distracted by the Stones on the Path by Christine Donkin. See you tonight!

This Saturday at 6 pm Mountain Time (Facebook Live), Adam Cicchillitti and Steve Cowan present a new program of 20th century music written in Paris by Ravel, Debussy, Tailleferre and Mompou, as well as Canadian works by Jose Evangelista and a world premiere by Christine Donkin.
