KF Aero has the skills to do this. "MW376 will fly"
Coupling the old technology with the new is special
The last of Britain's WWII fighters
It's impossible not be impressed with the complexity of this aircraft
At KF Aerospace our passion for aviation runs deep
We are really excited to be working with Pan Productions Inc. on a video about the MW376 Hawker Tempest II restoration taking place at KF Aerospace in Kelowna. http://www.panproductions.com/ https://www.facebook.com/panproductionsinc/posts/2704617379778464
Just to clarify, this is my phone video and not done by Pan Productions!
Some recent photo's
Had a few enquiries regarding the history behind MW376. This might help, and thanks again for all your continued support and positive comments.
A couple of recent photo's. The rudder is rigged, trimmed and operational. The hydraulic system is progressing really well and we are looking at possible dates for a gear swing which I will video. Also, some exciting news coming up very soon.
Engine exhaust routing in work along with cowl structure. We are making great progress with the hydraulic system and a gear a gear swing is not too far off. We will video this major milestone and post.
Throttle body in progress. Hydraulic lines coming along nicely, gear, wheels and brakes almost complete.
Throwing out a challenge! we would like a patch design for the project. Any good designers out there! no financial reward, just the glory of knowing you did it Thinking that we might get some caps. Any ideas directly to me please: [email protected]
Sorry it's been a while since the last update everyone. Busy with work and then COVID 19. Took a walk into the hangar today. The team are making amazing progress, I've attached some photo's of the landing gear now fitted (partially) and views from under the fuse looking up into the cockpit. The guys are focussing on finishing the gear, then the hydraulics so we can work on flying control surfaces.
Making steady progress, a few more photo's. Exhaust trial fits. It's a work of art.
Snapped some more photos yesterday. The fuel tank is coming along nicely.
Really pleased to be working with Steve Atkin - Warbird Colour. Steve is going to be helping us with the project management of MW376 paint & markings. Thanks Steve! http://www.warbirdcolour.co.uk/ Also, thanks again to everyone who gave input to our decision to go for the Hawker factory scheme. See earlier post for image.
4,000 'Likes' - Thank you everyone who is following and supporting this project.
Our team really do amazing work. Building a new fuel tank and our overhauled wheels.
MW376 Paint Scheme. Thanks to everyone who provided input. More news to follow.
Thanks for all the message and support around the subject of paint, we have received a lot of great information. Pretty certain that original from the factory it will be.
