This is #Februdairy Month Let's take a moment to remember all the forgotten mothers whose children were torn away and forced to suffer the same tortured lives as them. A mother's love is fierce and unconditional, regardless of their species. When they are pregnant, they carry their babies as long as humans do, and they lactate just like we do. They do not lactate unless they've given birth - like all mothers. The milk they produce is solely for their child.... Each baby is stolen and destroyed so you can have a glass of milk. And this is standard practice - every day. Dairy farms need female cows to produce milk but there's little demand for male calves, and many farmers can’t afford to keep them beyond birth. Early disposal is known as the "dirty secret" by farmers. Dairy is ending. Have you switched to plant based yet? #breastfeedingmom #Februdairy Dairy Farmers
