Well....today is the last day for HEART n' SOLE QUILTS. The shop will be closed as of 3:30 this afternoon. The past 19 years have been amazing. The people we... have met both in the shop and at the over 120 Quilt shows...incredible.. Many friends have been made. We have shared stories and experiences with quilters and so many others from all over the world. It has been my pleasure as well as honour to have quilts on every continent with the exception of Antarctica.. Last year quilters from Alberta, BC and Saskatchewan entrusted me with sharing their quilts with our community. These many quilts provided comfort and warmth in our time of need. Thank you. Last fall I took a giant leap...I was elected to City council. This brings a whole set of different challenges. So much to learn. Thank you to all for the faith and hope placed in me. With my job as an elected official I am sure I won't be bored. And for all my Quilter friends......I am still quilting. See more
