It's a busy day in our Centre! We'd like to welcome the QEII Foundation, the Halifax Partnership Board of Directors AND Nova Scotia Lands, who are all using our spaces today to meet face-to-face, safely! We're also pleased that our hybrid capabilities are being used. Even with enhanced measures in place, things are starting to feel more and more back to normal as we all #ComeTogetherHFX! We're proud to be able to connect colleagues, help clients safely host, and be a backdrop for important conversations.

The noon canon just went off, signalling that #GUT2021 is underway as they climb up Citadel Hill and raise money for colorectal cancer. We spy a fabulous turnout of participants for the registration in our Centre! Best of luck Get Up There 2021!

Today we're hosting participants for GET UP THERE 2021! We're proud to have our Centre as the registration site for GUT 2021, and would like to extend a warm welcome as they #ComeTogetherHFX for their public awareness movement, fundraiser and event. Today we celebrated Global Meetings Industry Day with friends from across Atlantic Canada, virtually and in-person! It was wonderful having this opportunity to #ComeTogetherNS and celebrate the resiliency of our industry and our action for recovery. Today the Halifax Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with NATIONAL Public Relations,is hosting the Annual State of the Province with Premier Iain Rankin in our Centre. We're proud to have the capabilities to host in-person and virtually for the event, so important discussions can continue in our province and city.

Four sold-out shows in the heart of #Halifax? Yeah, that's right! Matt Andersen is playing live music on our stage for four consecutive evenings, starting tonight. Colin Kiley is our Director of Building Services. He is responsible for overseeing all maintenance and repair projects, security, as well as all mechanical and electrical operations for our Centre! Colin is a retired Lieutenant-Colonel in the Army and a service veteran. Colin holds a Facilities Management Administrator (FMA) designation from the Building Owner’s Management Association.
