Our first Virtual Festival was a success!!!Thank you very much to all the parents who drove the dancers and patiently waited as we navigated our way through this new experience. It would not be our first choice in doing a festival but it worked and we were thankful for the opportunity. The all important part was that the dancers got to perform and show all their hard work. Thank you dancers for coming with smiles, laughs and energy. see you all in studio this week. Stay safe and strong.

Good afternoon dancers and dance moms:) We are looking forward to our virtual dance festival. It will be a great opportunity to show our dances. We will NOT be attending the Lloyd festival this year as we feel the restrictions being placed on our dancers and on the parents are tough ones. We are sad to do this but too many things would have to change for the kids and for the parents as well. ... So I will be taking the carried over Lloyd fees from last year and applying them to the Smoky Lake festival and to the t shirts if applicable. I will have all the bills/credits on the weekend. Schedule for Sunday March 14th for videoing for smoky lake festival 11:00-11:20 beginner ballet (under the sea) 11:20-11:40 beginner jazz (Hawaiian roller coaster ride)... 11:40-12:00 beginner hip hop (turn it on) 12:00-12:20 junior ballet (mischievous dolls) 12:20-12:40 junior lyrical (look through my eyes) 12:40-1:00 junior jazz (cover girl) 1:00-1:20 junior tap (other side of Hollywood) 1:20-1:40 junior acro (Afro circus) 1:40-2:10 junior hip hop (welcome to the party) 2:10-2:45 all solos and duets. Ballet: body suit (in whatever colour you have) pink tights, ballet shoes. Jazz, lyrical, musical theatre: body suit (in whatever colour you have) if dancers do not have a body suit a plain black tank top will do, beige tights, black shorts, jazz shoes. Acro: body suit (in whatever colour you have) if dancers do not have a body suit a plain black tank top will do, black shorts. Hip hop: plain black tank top or body suit, plain black leggings, white socks and runners. Tap: body suit (in whatever colour you have) if dancers do not have a body suit a plain black tank top will do, beige tights, black leggings, tap shoes. All dancers will be wearing our new team shirts we have ordered for every dance as their costume this year. Make up: beginners will NOT be wearing any makeup. Juniors and up will be wearing just a small amount for this festival. Our studio lip stick cover girl #555 blossom berry A little bit of blush And mascara. No other make up is required.

Tonight will be our last class in studio. Starting Monday we will be zooming all classes at our regular times.

As of right now dance is not included in the new restrictions that AHS is imposing. It is our intention to hold regular classes this week. Should something change we would notify you and continue classes via zoom. See you all this week
