Good Morning! With the extremely high winds overnight, our crews have been hard at work making sure everything weathered well. We frequently check blocking and adjust stands - especially during these conditions! Aside from a few tarps with damages, you can rest assured everything is well. Those with noticeable damages to their tarps will be contacted by our office today.

Your individual comments will be very helpful as we work over the winter to improve your overall experience at the marina. ATTENTION ALL COTTAGERS As you're all probably aware, the amended essential service" list continues to exclude recreational boating at this time. The Ontario G...overnment has also strongly urged cottagers to stay home during this time. With recent high winds and extremely high water, we've received a number of requests from folks with both island and mainland cottages, asking if we can go check on things in their absence. Starting tomorrow, we will be launching a new COTTAGE WATCH PROGRAM! A "cottage watch visit" includes a few pictures of your shoreline, dock, cottage and out-buildings, as well as a one-page checklist on any findings. (doors locked, windows closed, no trees down etc) We have express permission to operate commercially on the water, and to perform any essential maintainence or repairs (securing docks, solving leaks etc). ATTENTION ALL HINDSON MARINA BOATERS As per the Provincial Government’s address today, April 3, 2020 in regards to the current COVID-19 crisis, they have amended the essential service list which unfortunately does not include pleasure boating. The marina has the obligation to close as of 11:59 pm on April 4, 2020. We will still be available and responding by email and phone from our homes.... #Stay Safe
