HME Over last 4 to 5 months I have had the opportunity of working with Michael Bannon, Paediatric Product Specialist from HME Mobility. From the onset, Mike presented himself as very professional, at the same time knowledgeable, well-mannered and caring. It was only a few months earlier that Dad had his stroke. While COVID had hit and many restrictions were in place, we reached out to HME to provide us a wheelchair. Unable to personally assess due to COVID, Mike received the specifics and was quick to deliver. Upon delivery, Mike quickly realized that the specs given where insufficient to provide for a proper fit and was diligent to quickly provided a much better solution to accommodate Dad’s needs. I never realized the complexity of moving to the final solution. Through it all, Mike was right there, in his own assessment and working with the OT, modifying the wheelchair to better provide the comfort and support needed. COVID itself created a few snags along the way yet persistence paid off and the chair evolved into the suitable unit it should be.
