I love it when Facebook Memories pop up. I did get the position. It was only 1 trip to Toronto but I took in alllllllll that I could! I walked for miles and miles in 3 days - didn’t help that I somehow turned myself around and went the wrong direction on Yonge St. Should have just kept doing in that direction and put my poor tender toes in Lake Ontario but no, I tried to make it to the Hockey Hall of Fame before it closed. I had so many blisters from my trek. And of course I ...had to run a 5KM Muck Run in Lloydminster that same weekend. My feet never hated me so much in my entire life! But seeing this memory made me realize that I know exactly what I need to do to start raising funds for mental health initiatives here in Regina. Time to start brainstorming and putting together a plan. If a city of 31,000 can put one on, why can’t a city of 229,000?
