We are saddened to report that Ana Jefak, a longtime member of our parish, has passed away. In accordance with the regulations of the Bereavement Authority of Ontario due to COVID-19, all events are restricted to a specified number of attendees. Please RSVP in advance for visitation and Mass by calling 905-547-1121. All visitors are asked to remain in their vehicles until their allotted time. Visitors are also required to wear a face covering and practice social distancing. ... Visitation will take place at Markey-Dermody on Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 7:00 to 9:00 pm with Prayers at 8:30 pm. Her funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 10:00 am. Today, Croatia commemorates Remembrance Day for all victims of the Homeland War and Remembrance Day for the victims of Vukovar and Škabrnja. Bože, neizmjerne Ljubavi! Pogledaj na nas, i udijeli nam snagu Duha Svetoga:... da istinski prihvaamo Evanelje i nepodijeljena srca nasljedujemo put tvoje ljubavi. Ratna su nas stradanja duboko ranila. I kad smo zdvajali, s pouzdanjem smo molili: da nam u vihoru rata ne prestane svijetliti spasenje i tvoja zapovijed Ljubavi. Danas na poseban nain molimo na sve žrtve grada Vukovara, Škabrnje i cijele nam Domovine. Gospodine, bez prestanka nas nadahnjuj svojom ljubavi! Jedino ona e nam pokazivati pravi put - kako nam je zahvalno cijeniti žrtvom steenu slobodu i kako nam je iskrenim opraštanjem istiti duh; kako nam je pružati ruke na pomirenje i, molei od tebe mudrost, graditi istinski mir.
