One of Hope Air’s highlights this year was Give Hope Wings The Sault to Saguenay expedition. The five-day flying expedition raised $122,056 to fund flights to help patients reach vital medical care. The expedition exceeded its goal by 22 per cent and funded 488 flights! Thank you to all the sponsors and volunteers who made the event such a success. Check out the video of the event.

Hope Air is proud to be featured in the December issue of the CAA South Central Ontario Magazine. Stephen from Sudbury was diagnosed with aggressive brain cancer. Day One on the Give Hope Wings Sault to Saguenay Expedition . This morning Hope Air hosted a community event at Burlington Airport to see off the pilots taking part in this years fundraising expedition. . Despite the weather concerns the expedition was able to make it the Sault Ste Marie. Tomorrow they depart on an adventure through the Agawa Canyon before making their way to Timmins.... . Our next Give Hope Wings pilot feature is Lee Arsenault. He has always had a passion for flying, but after retiring, he began pilot lessons. After getting his PPL and IFR rating, Lee joined Hope Air as a Volunteer Pilot. Lee, who flies a Diamond DA-40, and his wife Marilyn, who talks with the patients and helps them feel comfortable, have flown over 20 missions with Hope Air. Support Lee: https://bit.ly/3hgNM1I

Our next Give Hope Wings pilot feature is Lise Ash. She is from Ste. Anne, Manitoba and fell in love with flying as a young girl. After watching a presentation by a Give Hope Wings pilot at her flying club, Lise felt inspired. She met the pilot and by the next morning, they were planning the 2019 Give Hope Wings Northwest Expedition.
