GANG MASSAMAN Beef rib cubes simmered with sweet potatoes, carrots, onions, and pineapples chunks in a coconut curry broth influence with Indian spices like cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, star anise, cumin, bay leaves, and nutmeg. Combined with local Thai flavors such as dried chili peppers, coriander, lemongrass, galangal, white pepper, shrimp paste, shallots and garlic make up this soul-nourishing dish. Many of you already know & love our Thai style Khao Soi on our menu but have you tried its cousin from neighboring Laos?? "Khao soi" translates to "rice slice" a term that came from having to make rice noodles from fresh and instead of machine manufactured, they were hand sliced. There are many versions of this classic soup. Traditionally made with ground pork, we decided on chicken instead. Simmered slowly with fermented soy beans, loads of garlic, and chili powder. Think..... Asian style spiced meat bolognese. . A scoop of that to finish off this classic, Laos style Khao soi. We added our special touch with Chinese broccoli, mushrooms, shrimp balls, and fish balls with chives in a rich chicken bone broth seasoned with coriander & ginger. Garnished with fresh greens and toasted garlic. This new feature is available starting today, and running all week! Open until 8pm everyday except for Sundays & Mondays so c'mon in!
