UPDATE: Frisky is still looking for his forever home! This 15 year old fella is such a great companion to have around He likes to explore his surroundings, loves ear scratches (if you are silent you can hear his very soft purr), getting brushed, nap on your lap or in his bed, he is litter trained of course and is friendly to other cats, dogs, and to children. You can imagine that as he is an oldie (but a goodie!), he would do well in a calm house with a very loving someone to give him lots of attention, love and care (and no stairs or ladder to climb as he is not able to climb them anymore and might get hurt trying - he is still young at heart!) Call us to come and meet him, he will charm you as he has charmed us with his gentle and friendly nature. 867-993-6900

Would you look at this good boy! Aspen is a lab cross of 13 years, this guy loves to go on walks with you in the woods, run in the yard catching snowballs (or real balls!), going on car rides (such a good boy), getting brushed and cuddle with you on the sofa or bed. When you are busy in the house, Aspen just likes being around, close enough to see you or hear you, while he chews away at his toys while lying on a carpet or a dog bed. He usually likes dogs smaller than him, bu...t will also like bigger ones if they are nice to him (especially females). He has not known many kids, is still very strong for his age and likes to jump sometimes to say hello and stare romantically into your eyes (to keep in mind if introducing children). He is afraid of cats, but if they are strolling near him he will be curious and growl. He will be vocal when you leave him (cries, sings, whimpers, barks): having a dogfriend to keep him company or a friend who can take him when you leave for long hours could be ideal. He has never destroyed anything during his anxious moments without a human, but he can be very sad when left alone. Interactive toys help a lot! If you work from home Aspen would be a very happy gran'pa dog!! Aspen is such a pleasant dog, we know he will find his family very soon and we will miss him! Hello!! Does anyone know this cute girl!? She doesn’t have a tag and was found on second avenue by the bylaw. Please contact us asap as the shelter will close around 2 pm. For today no need to go to City Hall to pay the fine as it is closed.
