Ontario just declared vape shops to be an essential service. Ask your Saskatchewan MLA to do the same. Tobacco products are considered essential - why is vape not considered just as important only in Saskatchewan?

The Liberal government in Nova Scotia obliterated the retail vape industry with the stroke of a pen - with three weeks notice. For the sake of your own choice in Saskatchewan and Manitoba, please don’t let it happen here. Please take two minutes to phone your MLA and explain to them how critical flavours are to help smokers quit!... And please share this post to any other vapers you may know!

The UCP (Conservative) government that declared they had no intention of taxing legal vape products swept all vapers under the rug - conveniently. Help make sure that the same does not happen in Saskatchewan - call your MLA - tell them how important vaping products were for you to quit smoking. And share to your friends that have switched, or may want to switch someday.

Alberta just announced a 20% tax on vaping products across the board to combat teen vaping, joining BC and Nova Scotia (almost 100% tax) in their combined attack on tobacco harm reduction. Rather than use existing enforcement, they will now be taxing adult vapers 20% to supposedly reduce illegal purchases by teens. If you would like to avoid a similar tax in Saskatchewan and Manitoba (governments will never turn down a new tax!), please contact your MLA and let them know your... opposition - the sooner the better! Protests affecting vape stores

Canada's Council of Chief Medical Officers of Health has recommended that the legal age to purchase vape products in Canada be raised from 18 to 21 to stop 12 year-olds from vaping. READ THAT AGAIN TO SEE IF IT MAKES SENSE THE SECOND TIME. NO? Share if you think this is ridiculous public policy.

The Saskatchewan government released an initial draft of the changes coming to the Tobacco Control Act December 2nd. They have given industry stakeholder groups FIVE WORKING DAYS to respond (deadline is Monday Dec 9).
