And then one day I learned from A Course in Miracles that the only way we can truly know that something is ours is to give it away. And I knew, I knew that stepping out and sharing my gifts was no longer an option. What is the fear that is holding you back? Embrace it and it will dissolve before your eyes. Fear knocked. Hi everyone. I have recently made a decision to pursue a career pathway as a Spiritual Guide & Energy Healer. Effective January 2020 I will be joining the healing team at En-Light-En Alternative Awareness & Healing in my hometown of Fredericton, N.B. Its been a life-changing year!! Ive learned that LOVE is all that matters and FORGIVENESS is the only way to live a happy and joy-filled life! One year ago I began a journey by accepting the challenge of completing one lesson a day of the Workbook for Students portion of A Course in Miracles. Today I completed the final lesson and my world view has been flipped from upside-down to right-side-up! During the year I have adopted a thought system and world view based on lov...e rather than fear. I have learned that to give something away is the only way to keep it. I have learned that forgiving others is the only way to receive forgiveness myself. A Course in Miracles is not for everyone (it even says so right up front), and it is certainly not for the faint of heart, but if you have ever felt drawn to it (as I did) I encourage you to take the plunge and give yourself the gift of working through it systematically in a year!! #acourseinmiracles #ACIM

I am learning to live between effort and surrender. In the Tao this is referred to as The Middle Way, the way without resistance.

For much of my life I thought the terms religion and spirituality were synonymous. Consequently, when I became disillusioned with religion and walked away I also closed the door on all things spiritual. That is, until I woke up to the fact that I am first and foremost a spiritual being and that this physical version of me is not who I really am. That realization has been a game changer for me and since that day I have been seeking truth wherever it may be found. This journey in many ways feels like I am traveling back home, back to where Ive come from. I guess you could say I am Homeward Bound!

I am learning that the most trustworthy voice of all is within each of us and learning to be still and listen has been one of my great lessons. And much to my surprise, whats right for me is not necessarily whats right for you. We are each one on our own journey. I encourage you to take the time for some stillness in your life and learn to listen to the voice of your Higher Self.

It was a weekend in early Fall of 2015. It seemed harmless enough! After all it was just a live-streamed personal growth seminar to be watched from the comfort of my home, but little did I know that before it was over I would hear something that would forever change the course of my life. I can only describe it as an awakening. Yes, in retrospect it was as if Id been asleep for 20 years. That weekend a single ray of light broke through my toughened exterior and cracked me op...en - first to an awareness of who I am as a human being (with so much more potential than I ever imagined possible) - and then more gradually to the discovery of who I really am, first and foremost, a spiritual being experiencing this human journey. Yes, it was a spiritual awakening! And as is often the case I woke up hungry and thirsty, not for food and water, but for truth and understanding. This appetite has led me on a journey of discovery down a number of spiritual paths each shedding more and more light on my trail. Along the way Ive come to realize that I am not alone, but that a growing number of others are on a similar journey. This page is about sharing my journey with the hope that I may inspire and motivate you to pursue your own spiritual path. Together we are Homeward Bound!
