Are you looking to diversify your skills? Take a moment to check out what ILRC's Personal Attendant Community Education Program has to offer. At ILRC, we train able - bodied people how to support people with disabilities. The training is five weeks long. It runs Monday to Friday with classes from 9:00 AM 4:00 PM daily. As well provides assistance for medical devices, home adjustments for barrier free living, and recreation programs for individuals and families in need. Grants are available for Canadians, 18+ years of age and in need of financial support. Manitoba region will start accepting applications March 1, 2021. The ILRC is moving! Effective January 1, 2021, our new location will be 100 167 Lombard Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3B 0V3 As part of our move, the ILRC phone network will be transferring to the new location and regular phone service may be disrupted for the dates of December 21st, 22nd, 23rd. The Independent Resource Centre is excited to announce our upcoming move to a new downtown location on January 1st, 2021! Situated on the main floor of the Grain Exchange Building, our new address is: Unit 100-167 Lombard Avenue... Winnipeg, Manitoba R3B 0V3 Due to COVID-19 restrictions, our staff continues to work remotely with access to email. Our office hours are 8:30 am to 4:00 pm Monday to Friday. Deliveries should be arranged by calling (204)947-0194. Our office will be closed for the holidays from December 24th, reopening at our new location on January 4th, 2021.

Due to the provincial pandemic response level, Independent Living Resource Centre is suspending all in-office programming, workshops and training. As of November 12th, 2020, the ILRC will be operating on a remote capacity, with offices closed and most staff working from offsite locations.
