Are you staying HYDRATED? For moderate to vigorous activity you want to be consuming about 750ml per hour of exercise in small doses throughout. You can drink a little bit more or less depending on how hard you are working and how much you sweat. We also recommend carbohydrate rich snacks such as a sports gel, fruit or whatever gives you energy every 45mins or so. Let's talk about GOALS // with Cassandra Ann Lately I've been thinking a lot about goals and how important it is to make intentions for 30, 60 and 90 days and getting really specific about EXACTLY what it is you want to achieve. The more details, the better. Think about your goals:... How do you announce them? (to yourself verbally? writing them down? telling someone else?) How OFTEN do you reinforce them? & HOW do you do this? What or who is keeping you accountable to reach them? How do you feel when you speak about them? (do they scare you? do they seem reasonably easy? etc..) If we were to take our goals and apply them to how we would proceed with some type of course or curriculum in school, even the concept of completing a degree/ diploma... our goal is to successfully graduate right? We enrolled ourselves in the process and enter knowing that we will accompany challenges along the way, right? Do we just give up and throw in the towel at the first low mark we receive? A lecture we don't quite understand? the fact that someone else may know a bit more than you at that moment in time? NO. We continue on. We evolve, We grow. We are determined! I invite you all to think about this and the reasons as to why you have not reached your goals (in the past few months, or even years). #achieveyourgoals #whatifyoucould
