This pre made dinner was dropped off for me last week, just popped it in the microwave and enjoyed some coconut curry chicken, wild grain/quinoa, carrots and broccoli. The first and last post ever about myself, but the message, and the evidence has been promised to a lot of you! So...look closely at the picture posted. Picture #1 was taken in May of 2014 Picture #2 was taken in June of 2016 Picture on the left was today. April 2019. ... In picture #1- I weigh 155lbs (at officially a 100lb loss post baby) In picture #2- I weigh 136lbs. My all time lowest How much did I weigh today? Take a guess and then scroll to the comments section. The point here is obviously the bathroom scale isn’t an appropriate measurement of success when used alone. Same goes for measurements (at times). The 150lb and 155lb physiques are so massively different. It is the difference between minimal strength training and strength training being the main focus of a fitness program. Keep your eyes on your goals. If that goal is to be strong, move well and be healthy for life then it’s cool to toss the stupid scale, and old briefs about weight loss! Hire yourself a good personal trainer that understands the science behind movement, strength, and balanced lifestyle; not loss on the scale (which can be very temporary). Ps. I eat more calories a day than I ever have, probably more than you think too! It’s a good place to be.

Intro Health & Fitness 05.11.2020

We were at it again today! Candace started training here during the summer. She came with hip pain, and unable to perform a proper squat. After a month of corrective exercise strategies she was able to stop physio!! We went to work on her mobility and base strength. The progression was slow at first, but today her squat is on point, and today she performed her first one rep max training, to which she hit a whopping 200lbs in her back squat with proper form and very little deviation of the bar path! Candace’s perseverance to achieve all her goals is inspiring! Her huge success is the essence of what happens when you don’t give up!

Words of wisdom from a five year old. He needed some motivation to start in a soccer league above his age group. It started with tears and nerves. We talked about skill and will. I reminded him he has the will and he asked to listen to We will rock you his fired up song lol . I am glad to have had my phone close. He didn’t realize I was taking video. My Son is a champion. His attitude towards challenges and adversity proves that time and time again. I couldn’t be luckier to be his Mommy.
