***Attention Izakaya Tomo Customers*** On October 24th, a member of our team had a reaction from a flu shot and got tested for Covid-19 just in case. On October 27th, they received notification that they tested positive for Covid-19. The individual was able to trace it back to a family party that their spouse attended on October 18th. The individual worked from October 21st through to the 24th. They did not have any direct contact with customers. For the safety and well-b...eing of our staff and guests, we have decided that we will be closing from today (October 28th) through to November 11, opening again on November 12th. All staff that worked with this individual will get tested and will self isolate for 14 days. As you know, at Izakaya Tomo we all wear our masks, constantly sanitize and wash our hands, and try our best to physically distance ourselves if possible. No other staff are experiencing symptoms, and we have been following strict health and safety protocols. We are currently awaiting further guidance from AHS and will provide updates accordingly. We continue to remain committed to caring for the wellbeing of our staff and guests, and we are so very grateful for the support that you have shown us over the past months.
