This session had me laughing, Aya wanted to run around and do anything but sit for photos so we compromised with her. She is such a little character!! Connie you are such an unbelievably great Mom to sweet little Aya, she is so lucky to have a FUN & BEAUTIFUL mama like you!

This group was an absolute riot! I could hear their bells jingling all through the forest and it warmed my heart right up to see their Christmas Get-ups! I LOVE MY JOB & ALL THE AMAZING PEOPLE I MEET ALONG THE WAY!

This sweet little family drove all the way from Alberta to have their photos done by me & I feel SO HONERED!! I decided that one location definitely was not enough so we did 3 of my favorite surrounding areas. We really couldn't of gotten luckier as it was so smoky the day they drove down, it ended up clearing for a couple days then came back even worse so I was BEYOND thankful. I love the way these two love this sweet little angel, their love is infectious and you can liter...ally feel the love radiate out of these photos. How adorable are they!! Thank you guys so much for coming all the way to beautiful Kelowna and HAPPY ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY!!

Hello everyone, and happy September!! It's been a hot minute since I've checked in and I do apologize for that. I have had the last year to focus on myself, grow and blossom into who I am meant to be. I have came so far and feel the happiest I HAVE EVER BEEN!!!! I now reside in my most favorite city in the world~ beautiful Kelowna, British Columbia. This is where my heart is happiest and at home! So it feels great to be settled and meeting new amazing people and visiting b...reathtakingly spots in the sunny Okanagan! With that said I miss all of my Alberta clients/friends & family immensely and think of you a often, you will always hold a special place in my heart as that's where my business started & I met all of you!!!! Where Janessa Lea Photography was established. Big things are happening with my business and I'm excited to share with you all what I've been itching to do out here! This weekend is a special one for the books as I have my first couple shoots with brand new sceneries to work with!!!!!!! Ahhhh!! Hello all!!!! Sorry it's been a hot minute since I've checked in with all of you lovelies! I am now settled in Kelowna B.C & could not be HAPPIER or feel more at home!!! We got to enjoy our first summer here in the beautiful Okanagan and now the trees are starting to show us how beautiful it is to shed & let things go..after all...Fall is our most favorite color of ALL!!!! ... My baby Minnie helped me scope out locations for upcoming photoshoots and we beyond succeeded!!! I'm so ready to get behind the camera again after my much needed break. Moving out here has helped me grow, regroup & focus on what I need to be the happiest and healthiest version of me!! And these nature walks are such a release of anything bad, negative or toxic. I walk with a smile on my face knowing I'm exactly where I need to be. I love how much I have transformed and will continue to grow, flourish & blossom into the best me I can be!!! Cheers to the end of summer 19 & getting back into my biggest love, passion & life of photography!!! Here are some photos I took with my phone today, next time my baby will be coming out to! She has been away too long!!
