Don't forget to take time off this year. Here are five tips to ensure the break between your workday and personal time doesn’t become blurred. It starts with taking a proper lunch break. See the next four #worklifebalance tips on our Chambers Plan blog:
The pandemic has changed the way employees use their benefits, and that's made Administrative Services Only (ASO) plans attractive to some businesses. A good ASO transition starts with lots of research. Make sure to look at your group’s claims history prior to 2020. As restrictions relax and people start booking dental cleanings or massage therapy, health and dental costs may return to normal levels.

During the pandemic, were proud that a number of our employees have been giving back to the community. This weeks Work Life Wonderful Wednesday highlights the weekly chats one employee began having through CNIBs Virtual Vision Mate program. When we first were in lockdown, I was looking for a way to give back from home and I came across CNIBs Virtual Vision Mate program. I signed up online, went through a short screening application, and was matched up with a lovely woma...n in her late 60s with vision loss. I call her once a week at a scheduled time and we have a FaceTime visit, which allows my kids to be involved, as well. Its a really easy way to connect with someone, and we all look forward to our weekly chats! *for privacy reasons, were using a stock photo #WorkLifeWonderful #JGinc #giveback

At JG, we believe that insurance is a community at its core: a group comes together to pool resources, so that if any one member needs help, the groups resources are available to them. During the pandemic, were proud that a number of our employees have been giving back to the community. This weeks Work Life Wonderful Wednesday highlights the breakfasts bags one of our employees began creating for a local single parent/child group. Breakfast is the most important meal of t...he day, and I was worried about the kids who usually had breakfast provided at school. So I called around to local schools, community clubs and resource centres to find out what I could do. I started putting together about 20 breakfast bags once a week, and dropped them off to be enjoyed. I like to think I put a smile on peoples faces. #WorkLifeWonderful #JGinc #giveback

This pic is a throwback to a recess we had a few years ago when we were altogether in the office, but weve encouraged all our employees to take a recess break today or tomorrow, from wherever theyre working.
