Today I had a total new comer lesson. Never been on a horse before! Wanted to start off by leading her around so she could get comfortable with the movement which didn’t take her long at all. Also check out how easy she makes that get on look! you’ll be barrel racing with me by the end of the summer Carmell U. Padua
Update for those inquiring on lessons: Lessons this year are going to be put on the back burner for the most part. I had to have a c section so am currently recovering from that. Once recovered my focus will be getting myself back in shape and riding/working my own horses, and of course being a mom! If you are needing help or struggling with something specific, shoot me a message and I will see what I can do about a single lesson to try and help you out! ... Fingers crossed for maybe taking bookings later this fall in Sep/Oct. Will post another update later on! Have a good summer everyone
Wind can’t even phase these two We have been using the corral by the slabs the last few times because it’s been so dang windy. Hoping to get out to the round pen next time maybe. They are getting along great and Cricket Cloud seems to have found his calling
Some equine therapy. Sometimes you have to adjust to your surroundings ha ha
Exciting news!! Introducing Cricket Cloud! He will be used for the lesson program for those who do not have their own horse. With the purchase of Cricket Cloud this means that lessons can start up again as soon as I get things rolling after having Baby P! Stay tuned as I will post later on when I will be taking bookings again!
Figured I better post an update so everyone is aware of what is going on. All lessons are on hold until after baby arrives in June. If all goes well and it is manageable with a little one, I plan to start lessons back up hopefully for end July or Aug. Will do an update closer to this time!
Sold !!!!! For your consideration: Boomer is an 11 yr old grade QH gelding. ( I bought him with no papers, and was informed that was his age so just going off that) he is approx 17hh. I will get an exact measurement in the next few days. He is a gentle giant, loves attention, can do anything with him. He is suited for beginner riders. He is NOT 100% sound and will need to go to someone who will only do light riding on him. I purchased him to use for my lesson program and I feel that with the amount of inquiries I am getting it is too much riding for what he can handle. He would make the perfect learning horse for someone who is just starting out. My niece competes on him at barrel jackpots in the Pee Wee’s. Asking $1,200 obo. Located in Ogema SK. Videos and more pictures available upon request.
Was a beautiful evening for riding lessons. Tonight was Madeline’s first time ever riding out in the open on her own. So proud of you Madeline. You did great!
Being I haven’t posted anything for a while I figured I should do one. This post is going to be about Macey and her success so far. When Macey came for her first lesson her and her horse were struggling with a nice leave on the backside of every barrel, and her horse was wanting to fade back to the gate between first and second. We worked on a few drills, and worked on really getting those lines cleaned up. The day after her second lesson she informed me she was going to a jackpot, I told her to really just focus on what we had been working on, set those goals, and go have fun. She sent me this video and turns out she won the 3D and a nice little wad of cash as well! I wish I had a before video but unfortunately I just have the after. Macey I am so proud of you and your accomplishments so far with just two lessons! Keep it up kiddo
If anyone was trying to get ahold of me yesterday either by texting or calling, I am not ignoring you! My phone crashedGot a new one but missing a lot of contacts and all my messages. If you were trying to line something up for lessons please contact me again. Sorry for any confusion or inconvenience!
Sarah had her first lesson today! Check out her form!!! Sure doesn’t look like a beginner up there!!
Lessons are $30.00, per person and run for 1 hour(can go over if required). All ages are welcome! Bring your own horse if you have. I have one lesson horse available.
I have decided to create this page in order to make lesson bookings easier for those wanting them. Feel free to ask questions, make comments, etc!
