We have spent the last few months learning the ins and outs of what exactly makes this business and the community it comes with, what it is. It is through a love of horses, compassion and dignity that makes Just Passing the incredible service it is.... While it isn't our wish that anyone has to face the day of saying goodbye to their four legged companion; it is our wish that the fateful day is accompanied by a kind face, a gentle heart and a deep understanding of what you are going through. It continues to be an absolute honour to have been given the opportunity to follow in the big footsteps of Greg and Carole. WE’RE HANDING OFF THE REINS, BUT THE HEART REMAINS! We are pleased to introduce the new owners of Just Passing Horse Transport and Bereavement Services: Jeff and Lynne Slade owners of Mountain Meadows Equine Cremations and Mountain Meadows Pet Cremations, at Nanton. We’ve worked with Jeff and Lynne for many years and we are confident that they are the right people to carry on our work with the same genuine compassion and respect they already provide for animals of all kin...ds. Like Greg, Jeff has been working with animals all his life and takes on this difficult job as a tribute to the unique bond he feels. The official hand-off will take place May 25th, 2020. It will be business as usual and the transition of ownership will be seamless. All contact information remains the same. We are pleased that Chuck McKinney will continue to provide the same excellent service in our northern territory. In addition to Luke Brisson, you can expect to see the friendly faces of Tyler Hodgson and Jeff Slade in the Calgary area. For us, this is not the end of the trail, but a move to greener pastures. We are honoured that Just Passing has been able to help so many people and so many horses and other animals through the toughest of times. A true thank-you to all of you who we’ve come to know through Just Passing. We’ll ride on with you always in our hearts.
