After receiving clarity regarding the recently announced Public Health Orders, and keeping in mind the wellbeing of our community, the Kamloops Symphony has made the decision to suspend Barb’s Used Book and Music Sale for remainder of the month. Thank you all so much to all the volunteers, book donors and customers who made the sale a success. Even though we were only able to remain open for a portion of our originally scheduled time, we are so grateful for the results of the sale, and you can be assured that funds raised will help keep the Kamloops Symphony active in the new year. We are honoured and thrilled to have been named this year's recipients of the Kamloops Home Hardware Bulding Centre Not for Profit of the Year Award at tonight's Business Excellence Awards. Gabriel Thibaudeau is joining Dina in conversation for this evening's KSO Front Row. Born in 1959, he studied piano at the Vincent D'Indy music school and composition at l'Universite de Montreal. Among many career highlights includes being the pianist at La Cinémathèque Québécoise, accompanying silent films for the last 30 years. This has resulted in him creating numerous new works for old silent films, including of course The Phantom of the Opera.
