Hello Lovelies! Well our parties are a hit and we are booked every Friday and Saturday night in November & December, aside from Friday Nov 27 and Friday Dec 11. We also have New Year’s eve available! Please note it is a minimum of 10 people to book a Weekend evening and NYE. Weeknights and Sunday’s are more negotiable as far as number of people. Pushing patio season! Continuing my tradition of treating myself to lunch on Fridays on this beautiful patio. Unfortunately it’s usually before opening Karma for Paul Longden-music night. Hello Lovelies! I'm super excited to announce the launch of part of Karma's new format - "The Bubble Party". We are taking bookings NOW to book as of November 4th and beyond. Come to Karma and enjoy our fun and cozy atmosphere with your 10 bubble babes & dudes and hang out in a safe, worry free environment. We will now be offering food from several local participating restaurants, along with Karma's signature charcuterie boards, dips & flatbreads. You choose your food... and booze upon booking and we will have it ready to go for your party. If you would like live music, this is also an option for an additional charge and based on availability of our musicians. There is no charge to rent the space however a $45 min pre-tax spend per person is required. A non-refundable $150 deposit is also required at time of booking, but this will be credited to your bill. Today has been a bit emotional for me to say the least. It’s Karmas 2nd year anniversary, and instead of throwing another huge bash like we did for our first year, there’s a Uhaul in the parking lot. The good news is, this Uhaul doesn’t represent a clear out and shut down, but just the beginning of a different path, a reinvention in an attempt to keep Karma’s doors open. It’s been a struggle since March and this year has been like none any of us have ever experienced. D...espite that, and the many obstacles we’ve had to face, there have still been so many moments of joy for me, and wonderful memories made in this amazing & magical place that I love so dearly. Last year I put together a banner with over 500 photos from the first year for all of you to see and be reminded of your memories from Karma. This year, I can’t do the same, so I’ve posted some photos of year 2 (up to the facebook allowable number of 80) for you to review and enjoy. I’m also not able to do a speech so this post will have to suffice as one. Here goes (picture me with mic in one hand and wine in the other ) This year has been all about the people who have continued to make my dream a reality. To my amazing musicians and friends, Paul Longden-music, Matt LalondeJim O'Neil, Kristopher Marentette, Bethany D'Alimonte, Bob Souilliere, Shelby & Lauren & Carson Koa. Live music has been the soul of this place from day one, and I thank all of you from the bottom of my heart for being such a huge part of what makes Karma so special! To my favourite boy Jake Smith, for coming home and working alongside me this past year. I can’t even tell you how much it has meant to me to have you with me. Today just happens to be national Sons day so I’m able to doubly thank him for being such an amazing loving son and all around wonderful man. To my person, Linsay Galerno Derkatz. Without you I never ever would have made it through this re-opening after covid. You have been there through it all, to ground me, talk me off so many ledges, tell me when i’m being an idiot and need to cut it out, wipe my tears and break out into fits of laughter with me when it was much needed. You walked in to Karma and loved it like it was your own. You took on whatever it was I needed in that moment with no hesitation and never looked back. You are part of the reason I never give up and I’m truly blessed to have had you walking this journey with me. Lastly, to my amazing Lovelies. You are the heart of this place. It was my dream but you all came and made it my reality. Even more so than I could have ever imagined. Thank you for your continued support of me and my little rustic old living room bar. It may not be exactly as we knew it before, but I will promise all of you that i’ll do my absolute best to keep what you all love about it alive. Cheers to 2 wonderful years of Good Karma, and hopefully many more to come!!
