Hello Wellness Members We miss you all so much!! It is so different around here without you!! We apologize for our delay in posting an update for you. Every week it seemed something was changing that we would get hopeful that it might alter our ability to re-open for your Wellness Programs. ... Unfortunately, despite the changes in public health guidelines and the various changes we have made to the Clinic layout, including the addition of barriers between our tables in the treatment area; each time it has turned out, that it is not enough of a change to allow us to be able to increase the number of people in the Gym area and still maintain the required physical distancing requirements to keep all of our valued clients, members and team, safe and healthy. Unfortunately, after looking at our situation from as many perspectives as we could come up with to try to be able to open up and welcome you back; under the current guidelines, we will be required to continue to operate under the current restrictions for the foreseeable future and are still unable to re-open the Wellness Program. We will re-evaluate the situation again in the Fall, and will certainly let you know if/when anything changes. We miss all of you and hope that you have found a way to keep up with your Wellness goals! Stewart, Glenda & all of the Ken Val Team

Hate being the bearer of bad news.... We know the steps we are taking are necessary to keep you healthy and away from this nasty virus. So while we cannot yet welcome you back, we promise you, we are doing everything we can to get things in place to have you all back in for your Wellness Programs so YOU can get back to working out to keep yourselves healthy too!! Miss You!!

So pleased to Welcome our Rehabilitation clients back tomorrow!!! Important to note that entry to the Clinic is restricted to clients with booked appointments only. Here are a few pics of how things look as we return to work in our new normal.

Ken-Val Rehab and Sports Injury Centre Inc. 23.06.2020

Hello Everyone!! Happy May!! As we await news of when we will be able to resume some of our operations, we are busy preparing the Centre for what our new normal will be... While doing some of the leg work to prepare us properly, I read this and thought I’d pass along the link to the Government of Canada website on proper mask use..including how to put them on and take them off safely.... When we are out and about, we see many people using them, but not necessarily in a way that’s most likely to give them the most benefit from using one. Common mistakes often seen: 1. Removing the mask using the front of the mask rather than the straps. 2. Lowering the mask down off your nose and mouth, leaving ear straps in place, and letting the mask rest down under your chin rather than removing it. These practises could actually potentially lead to greater risk of viral exposure. So please read Public Health guidelines to educate yourself on safe mask use! https://www.canada.ca//how-put-remove-clean-non-medical-ma We look forward to seeing everyone very soon!!

We left a note for the Bunnylast night: We asked perhaps, if he would be a dear... And please not leave any eggs behind... Because we are already on a hunt this year...... A curefor this virus is what we need to find!!!!! So if he could help us out in this way ... That sure would make our Easter Day!!! We hope everyone finds some way to be together while apart with friends & family today! If anyone is feeling a bit left out....please hang in there...there is no question that we are only apart so we will be able to be together with you, and everyone, again as soon as possible! Happy Easter Everyone!!

To All of Our Valued Rehabilitation and Wellness Clients, Despite great efforts on everyone’s part to maintain a healthy environment for all of our team and clients during this difficult time, we have now made the decision that, due to the continued concerns surrounding the Covid19 virus, we will be closing our Centre as of closing time tonight, 8 pm. Please note that we will be rebooking all rehabilitation appointments, Physiotherapy and Athletic Therapy, for the week of Mar...ch 30th, 2020. We will be directly contacting anyone who has appointments booked in the next few days to arrange your alternate appointment date and time. Some of our clients’ care is urgent and in these cases your therapist will be in touch with you to discuss treatment options we will make available to you during this closure. Currently we plan to resume all services and regular hours as of the week of March 30th. As things change daily with respect to this situation, we will post our official reopening date as we get closer to this time. Thank you for every effort you have made with us these past few days and weeks in the ongoing fight against Covid19! Seeing everyone come together is so valuable in maintaining a positive mindset despite everything happening around us. Wishing Health & Wellness for all of you! We very much look forward to being back together with everyone very soon. Keep in touch!! Call your family. Call an old friend. Call a new friend!!....We may be required to be physically separated but we don’t have to be far apart!

Ken-Val Rehab and Sports Injury Centre Inc. 19.02.2020

To All of Our Valued Clients...During these unsettling times with the Covid19 Outbreak, please be assured that in our practise we are following guidelines as set forth by both the Governments of Canada and New Brunswick; the World Health Organization as well as both of the professional associations for Physiotherapists (CPA) and Athletic Therapists (CATA). We are continuing our routine disinfecting practises for a health care facility. In addition, we are asking that all of o...ur clients please wash your hands or use hand sanitizer on entering the Centre, BEFORE entering the Gym/Treatment Area. Any team members who have travelled and returned to the province after March 9th, are respecting the 14day self isolation guideline and we ask that any Wellness or Rehabilitation Clients also respect this guideline and refrain from coming to the Centre for 14 days after your return if you have been outside of Canada. Obviously this is a situation that changes daily and we will do our best to keep everyone updated on what we are doing; however, if you are in a high risk category or have any questions about what practises we have in place, please do not hesitate to give us a call. We are here to help! Wash Your Hands...Cough Into Your Elbow...Self Isolate for 14 days if you’ve been out of the country...Monitor yourself for symptoms... THE WHOLE WORLD SAYS THANK YOU FOR DOING YOUR PART!!!
