So how do you know if you can trust that pre-listing inspection report? You don’t. As the buyer, you didn’t arrange for the inspection. You didn’t research and ...vet home inspectors to find one with an excellent reputation and track record. You didn’t enter into a contractual agreement with the inspector. So, essentially, that report wasn’t written for youand you have no idea as to its quality. Stay tuned on our next post for what the alarming trend is .. if you want to read the full article without waiting you can check out our BLOG page on our website!

EMF stands for Electromagnetic Field, it is typically used to refer to low energy electromagnetic fields. We are continuously surrounded by EMF through power li...nes and cell phones, which has led many to wonder if these fields may cause adverse health effects on people. For this particular inspection, the inspector checked the EMF rating with a meter. Anything over 3.0 is considered unsafe. This home was right across the street from a power line.... As you can see in picture 1. Picture 2: The meter reads a high 4.2 outside of the house on the hood of the car. Picture 3 : The steps to the home reads a 0.3. So it is considered safe! Our inspectors care about protecting their clients. EMF readings are just one of the many ways our inspectors go the extra mile to make sure you feel safe and secure in your new home.

New blog is up! Here is a peek into the article: When sellers hire a home inspector to complete a pre-listing inspection, it’s usually to find and fix any issu...es before listing. The seller may then choose to share the pre-listing inspection report for free with potential buyers. This may seem like a great deal if you’re the buyerno need to spend time, effort, and money to arrange your own inspection, because the existing report will give you all the information you need to make your decision. Right? Not so fast.... Stay tuned for more on our next post !

Why support a local business ? Did you know? One study finds that that for every $100 spent at a local business, $68 remained in the city while only $43 of each... $100 spent at a chain retailer. Local business owners often have incentive to support other local businesses, patronizing local establishments for both business and personal reasons. Chain businesses, on the other hand, tend to get their supplies from corporate, as well as having store managers and employees that aren’t as personally invested in buying local.
