Happy Monday, This upcoming Friday August 14th was supposed to be the 5th Annual KidSport Wainwright Charity Golf Tournament out at Riverdale Mini Park and we are very disappointed it could not happen. However, we do have big things planned for next year’s event which will be held Friday, August 20th 2021 at the Riverdale Mini Park and we will release more information in the coming months. Because we are bummed and bored this week with no prep work for the tournament we thou...ght we would try and do something to keep the interest level up. To help show our appreciation to all of you that have supported us we are going to have 2 give aways. The first will be for a Kidsport Wainwright Titleist golf towel and Titleist KidSport Wainwright golf balls. The second will be for a Callaway Golf Bag with the KidSport Wainwright Logo on it. Pretty cool prizes and all you need to do to be entered is like this Facebook group, like this post and you will be in for the draws. *Bonus Entries* To get your name in the draw a second time all you have to do is comment below what you like about KidSport Wainwright. The draws will take place this Friday afternoon and the winners will be posted right here shortly after. As you can imagine once youth athletic organizations open up a little more we are expecting to be very busy with applications with hopes to help get as many children in our area involved with organized sport as possible. So if you, your company or your organization is interested in donating to KidSport Wainwright please let us know! Again, we would like to thank everyone for your support of KidSport Wainwright as it truly is a vital organization in our community and we look forward to seeing you all next August to raise some more money for this great cause!!

It is with regret that the KidSport Wainwright chapter announces that the annual KidSport Wainwright Charity Golf Tournament at Riverdale Mini Park is cancelled... for 2020. Due to the safety concerns and new guidelines in regards to Covid-19 the decision was made to cancel the event for this year. Ultimately, the safety of everyone now and in the future is of the utmost importance. However, the KidSport Wainwright Charity Golf Tournament will be back bigger and better than ever in August of 2021 and when we have more information we will let everyone know. We thank you for your support and your patience. We look forward to seeing you at the 2021 event at the Riverdale Mini-Park!

Hello All, We wanted to give you a little update because many have inquired regarding the annual KidSport Charity Golf Tournament at Riverdale Mini Park originally scheduled for August 14th, 2020. We have yet to make a final decision whether we will have a modified version of the tournament or if we will cancel it for this year. ... Conversations between the committee and the MD of Wainwright are ongoing and once we both gain more guidance from the province and a final decision is made we will let everyone know. Until that time we are not taking any registrations for the event. Thank you for understanding and stay safe.
