Here's to you Child Care Provider To you who kiss booboo’s and wipes tears. Who clean butts with flair and catches puke with class. Who gives comfort to scared ...little hearts and drinks pretend tea when it is given to you. Who wipes noses a million times in 1 day and reads the same story over and over again. Who takes criticism but keeps on smiling even though you are hurt and works long hours even though you are tired. Here’s to you daycare provider who give of yourselves everyday and understands you are here to love, nurture and protect. With our job comes a lot of hard work and stress. We run on high all day long and we don’t take time to take care of ourselves. We put our daycare children and our own families ahead of ourselves and before long we notice we are running on empty. We notice that we have put on some extra weight and that we are stressed and tired. Can you relate? So can I. But then I decided I needed to take control. I needed to do something to help with my stress level and health. I found the help I was needing. It taught me how to eat the right kinds of foods, in the right portions and how to prepare them in advance so I can grab them on the go. I also found a workout program that was just right for me. Soon I noticed that I could handle stress better. I had more energy and I wasn’t getting sick with every new bug that was going around the daycare.
