JOIN OUR TEAM! WANTED: Junior Sous Chef / Line Cook Duties include:... Preparation of meals according to the posted menu and standardized recipes. Ensures food is safely stored, properly labeled and dated after receiving to avoid spoilage and facilitate proper rotation. Ensures that all food service department functions are performed in a clean, sanitary manner according to policies. Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently. Clean and maintain station in practicing good safety and sanitation. Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes. Adhere to the Health and Safety policies and procedures outlined in the Health and Safety Program. Job Requirements: Previous experience cooking and handling food in a high-volume casual dining restaurant is a definite asset. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Positive attitude and willingness to learn. Able to lift up to 40 lbs. Able to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends. Food handlers certificate required within 3 months of hire.
