The health and safety of our tenants, residents and employees is of paramount importance to the Kipling Group. We have implemented a multi-step program in response to the Pandemic. The following is an example of the steps we have taken and continue to act on: 1) Disinfectant hand sanitizers have been installed in all public areas. 2) Increased cleaning in all properties using hospital grade disinfectants. 3) High traffic touch points are regularly cleaned.... 4) Communications regarding hygenic standards have been sent to all tenants. 5) A lobby signage program has been implemented in our office buildings alerting individuals to not enter if experiencing any symptoms. 6) Our employees have been provided with the necessary safety equipment. 7) Security levels have been increased to protect retail and office tenancies. This process is being monitored by senior management and revised as necessary. Stay safe everyone!

Mayor John Tory and the media joined us today to welcome the very first students at Jean Lumb Public School (TDSB) and Bishop Macdonell Catholic Elementary School (TCDSB) at the newly built, and Kipling Group Inc managed, Canoe Landing! Canoe Landing will be home to two elementary schools, a community centre featuring a gym and roof top basketball court, a community space, and a child care centre when fully completed this Spring.

Kipling partnered with Alvole to install rooftop beehives at The Robertson Building in downtown Toronto. Honey bees play a critical role in our ecosystem as they promote the growth of plants, flowers, and agricultural crops through cross-pollination. By installing beehives, not only does our citys urban vegetation thrive, we also contribute to increasing bee populations and promoting biodiversity. Enjoying fresh honey from our beehives is an added bonus!

Being environmentally conscious is a big focus at Kipling Group. We strive to be green and drive sustainability initiatives throughout our portfolio. - - - - - - Check out this green roof at one of our downtown Toronto properties, complete with a variety of native plant species and an awesome view. Green roofs provide several environmental benefits to our city including: a habitat for birds, insects and other plant species; a micro-climate that reduces urban heat island effect; the retention of storm water when it rains preventing sewer overflow into Lake Ontario; the reduction of air pollutants by trapping and degrading contaminants; and protection of the roof membrane from harsh temperature changes giving greater longevity to a conventional roof.

Kipling has officially commenced its property management services for Union Station - Canadas busiest transportation facility serving 300,000 visitors per day in downtown Toronto. Under the ongoing Union Station redevelopment, the station will be home to over 100 curated retailers and food providers.
