Well folks, we have typical March weather now. Really warm (mid 40's) to -25. Yesterday we got a foot of snow with heavy drifting. The Hwy. was closed for the day. Today, -27 and beautiful sunshine. Only a couple of months till spring.

Happy New Year!!! Yes, we had a white Christmas. Finally got the nasty 2020 snow all piled up.

Merry Christmas friends. I took these yesterday. We had a winter storm pass through and it dumped over 2 feet of snow on us. Got drifts up to 5 foot. Now this morning the temp. is -27. Talk about a White Christmas. A lot of clean up to do now.

Well it's the first day of winter although it has seemed like winter for the last couple of months here. Also the shortest day of the year so if we have an overcast day like today it starts getting dark at 4 PM. We have just over a foot of snow with another foot coming on Wed. The lake finally froze over completely On Nov. 24 Th. The coldest day so far has been -15 f. I hope you all are safe and getting ready for Christmas.

Well we've had some great fishing and hunting at Klotz Lake Camp in the last month. Walleye, lake trout, whitefish and splake. The grouse are plentiful. My archery moose hunters saw moose but they never came within range. The first week of rifle moose is now over and my hunters got a nice cow and HUGE bull. It's rack was 62.25" That's a lotta bull. The temps. are between the mid teens to the mid 30's F. Very little snow on the ground. I'll try to send more pics soon.

Well friends, it's a beautiful time of year. The fishing is great, the grouse plentiful along with the fall colors and smells. The temps are ranging between 28 and 68 deg. I have archery Moose hunters out right now looking for their game.

We had our first frost last night. The fish are still biting and I've already picked a big feed of fall mushrooms. Grouse hunting starts tomorrow.

Well friends, Fall is in the air. The temps. are between the high 40's to the mid 60's. Fishing is still good and it looks like a good year for Grouse. I hope you are all keeping safe and doing well. Haven't seen a mosquito in over 2 weeks. Soon it will be time for mushrooms.

Hello friends. It's lonely here without you but stay safe so we can get the border reopened. We've had drastic temp. changes here from triple digits to fall weather. Today it's mid-50's. Just came back into the house from watching a nice moose walking the shore across the lake. Also the poor mosquito's are confused. They don't know from one day to the next if they should put on sunscreen or long johns. I repeat, please be safe and hope to see you all soon.

Well my friends, welcome to the first day of summer. It's been a crappy year so far for all of us. I miss my American friends and clients but we all must stay safe.Hopefully the border will open soon and we can all reunite and go fishing. Please be safe. Your friend, MIKE

Hello friends. Approx. 10 days ago the temp. was 96 deg. Now we've had 4 days of rain and colder temps. When I got up this morning it was still raining and 40 deg. Went to town for supplies and got home at 2:00 pm. And guess what? The temp. went down to 30 deg. and now it's SNOWING. YES, SNOWING! WOW!

Howdy friends. 2 days ago it was 96 deg. here and this morning it was 30 deg. At 10:30 this morning it snowed the about 5 minutes. Talk about climate change.

Well friends the ice left on May 19th. Also had a few hot days. Yesterday the temp got up to 96 deg. We are still locked down, so be safe and hope to see you all when things open up.

Well friends, it's Walleye opener 2020. Mother nature and corona are both being bitches but please be safe and as you can see, I'm keeping your fish covered in ice and hope to see you soon.

GREETINGS FROM CORONA-FREE KLOTZ LAKE CAMP. I awoke this morning to 3 inches of fresh snow and guess what? It's snowing again. I'll be happy when spring gets here in July.

Snowing again for the second day. 7 deg. Lots of ice on the lake. Stay safe.

Greetings from Klotz Lake Camp. We're quarantined and hunkered down to be safe but I thought I'd send you all a few pictures from up here. Yes, we still have snow and plenty of ice on the lake. It's a beautiful sunny day. 46 deg. Please be safe everyone. Hope to see you all soon.

Hope you are all home and staying safe. We have a major snow storm going on here. Heavy snow and very windy. I have a couple of 3' drifts in my yard. The Hwy has been closed since 11:00 am. Makes it real easy to stay home. Take care.
